spiderkit
I KNOW THAT I'M NOT PERFECT
I KNOW THAT I'M NOT PERFECT
NAME... spiderkit
AGE... five moons
GENDER... female
CLAN... shadeclan
POSITION... kit ~ to be med cat
APPEARANCE...what with being disorderly and bedraggled, she actually has a wide range of muscles underneath her thick fur, designed to glide through water. her muscles twine around her legs, in thick, strong bands. her chest is extremely muscular, as is her neck. the rest of her body is lithe and ready for action. with strong paws, hooked with dangerous claws stand up against others. however rarely she unsheathes them. matched with a thick head full of sharp needle-like teeth set behind a multi-colored face. starting off with a black nose, then progressing further until the ebony black envelopes her entire body, that you might think would be misshapen into a purely black cat. instead the colouring details further into a light tinge of orange. slightly close to beige, but dark enough to become almost brown. this certain colour places itself in irregular areas all over her body.
some appears to disguise her face, and make it appear almost skeletal, a sturdy orange chin in particular. in appearance one side of her body, the right side is distinguished thoroughly with a smear that covers her entire shoulder and paws, lowering down to the quarter width of her back. flecking in and out in her whole body, you can tell she looks rather menacing. it's a wonder she managed to keep herself clean during meetings! however this leads to her grooming and presentable figure. if on a good day you may be able to catch her displeasing mound of fur into a smooth amount of cleanliness. if not, it will most likely be found burred and/or full of leaves and bits of dirt. you can't blame her, with fur that thick it is hard to comb through. despite this monstrosity of a cat, you might think she would have scars. if not your right! however menacing and mean-spirited she appears to be through that mask of angry fur, it seems to not be touched by the worthy scars of battle. or perhaps falling on a stone or clipping yourself on a sharp branch. whatever happens she surprisingly doesn't have them. and she doesn't want them either.
one thing almost always mentioned from every cat is the colour of their eyes. in fact hers are an eerie, or rather in youngsters faces, an angry tone of yellow. apparently twolegs think that yellow eyes mean they're rowdy and will cause a lot of trouble. that could be for spiderleaf but really shes just mean-spirited. she doesn't much like company, even if she might think she does. others pester her ability to sort herbs, again thats her opinion.
PERSONALITY...most see her as a mean, grumpy old she-cat with a bad attitude. that may be true, but it's only because she is so focused on what she does that she is afraid to ever stop. being distracted causes her nerves to rise, and often leaves her with the stressful anxiety to snap and yell at another. however she does manage to teach others the lesson in patience by showing just how little she has herself. it comes in handy in combat, trust me.so, all in all, spiderkit is really just a shy cat with a passion for what she does. she doesn't let anything stop her, or distract her. and the only way for her to escape from her 'distractions' is to act mean and dangerous around others. you can't blame her.
spiderkit, as a youngling was closely attached to her siblings, even more so with her father. in fact, the two were so closely bonded that spiderlkit had almost become a warriors apprentice. however her skills in medicine exceeded that feat to her fathers dismay. however so her mother cheered her on, and as far as being a loving, proud and protective mother is, she stood up for her daughter, even when her father couldn't. this rather made spiderleaf not like her father, but she still felt the need to prove to him just how good she was. and even after her father passed away, as well as her mother she still finds the need to prove herself, even as a medicine cat.
as said before she doesn't act too kindly to her clanmates, and takes even less kindly to other clan cats. though around other medicine cats, yes she can be rude. however she respects them as she would her leader. and she can even be found bossing her leader around. this doesn't make much difference for her though. spiderkit acts bitterly and self-centered around everyone. though when injured, she will instantly change her personality. instead of being the hard-hearted character she usually betrays is changed into a kind-hearted she-cat. it initially means she will do everything in her power to help you, whether you like it or not. she is a very hard cat to understand, and even harder to talk to. but don't go getting in a scuffle just so you can nab a chance to talk to her. she'll know your lying, with ease.
initially when she is in danger she attempts anything she can to get away. because she is not as skilled in battle as some, the downfall of being a medicine cat she doesn't like fighting. however if cornered or threatened fiercely she will attack you. careful of her claws, she doesn't trim them. her teeth are just as frightening. what with being yellowed. though it is a totally different side of the story if one of her clan-mates are found in danger, hurt or bleeding. she will unintentionally throw herself into the fray to protect whomever was injured, fighting tooth and claw to drive them back. there is nothing more terrifying than a she-cat protecting her babies. however in this case it happens to be a she-cat protecting her clan.
HISTORY...having been born to flowerstep and darkpelt made for excellent love and cherishing, not that other mothers and fathers didn't love their kits. however the two parents absolutely adored their kits. spiderleaf, who was spiderkit at the time was named after the tiny black spider than landed on her nose after birth. as for her sister, a piece of nettle managed to wiggle itself into the bedding and poke her, therefore dubbing her nettlekit. at the time there was only them, and everyday they were the ones complaining about being stuck in the nursery. more times than not they would manage to sneak out of the den and get themselves into plenty of trouble by getting in the way of other cats paws. more times than not they were just scolded and told to stay inside. though that never stopped them before. and having been the only kits in the nursery at that time didn't help quench their boredom either.
just so you know this was copied off another site i'm on with the same cat, only as an adult. so if there is anything that seems unkit-like it probably is. please let me know if anything is wrong with it.
