Covered with what can only be described as a gray ash, this place seems dim and dusty, like nothing could ever shine or grow here. It is not haunted by the same darkness that rules the abyss, but it certainly isn't bathed in light. Cats who believe they belong in the abyss, though they don't, or cats who have not come to terms with the evils in their lives tend to be stuck here in this sort of limbo between the light and the dark.
