NAME...Windkit, Windpaw,Windsong (eventually).
AGE... Seven Moons
GENDER... Female
CLAN... Seaclan
POSITION... Warrior Apprentice
APPEARANCE...Like her mother and her mother’s mother, Windpaw’s pelt is a myriad of color. Her head and flank are covered with dark browns and oranges, while her chest, stomach and forepaws are white. She’s fairly easy to spot in camp and along the green foliage of New Leaf, but she manages to blend in well into her surroundings during Leaf Fall. She has a long, thick coat that manages to get tangled quite a bit. As a kit, she felt as if she was constantly being groomed and now that her coat is growing out even more, she has to take greater care to make sure no burrs or nettles get stuck in her fur. She’s rather small in form and has quite a bit of growing to do, but she manages to keep up with the other apprentices well enough, as her speed makes up for her lack in strength. Her eyes are the color of Leaf Fall foliage: light amber, flecked with green.
PERSONALITY...Windpaw is certainly a character. As a kit, she was very imaginative and impulsive. Oftentimes she was found outside of the nursery, asking the Warriors inquisitive questions and generally being a bother. She knew from the moment she could interpret the Warrior way as a young one that she wanted nothing more than to fight for her clan. Windpaw is a very bright cat. She can catch on to hunting and fighting techniques with ease and could make her way about the territory by herself within the first couple days of her apprenticeship. While she might be a smart one, Windpaw’s greatest weakness is her impulsive nature and her inability to stay focused on one task for too long without getting bored. Oftentimes, she can be seen scampering about camp doing one thing one minute, then turning around and running out of camp doing something else entirely the next. She’s difficult to keep and eye on and flighty, but she truly tries her best in training. She’s a good apprentice – when her mentor can keep her attention.
HISTORY...Windpaw was born seven moons ago, in the early days of Leaf Fall. She was the kit of a young mother, who only birthed her and a brother. Although the litter was small, they were healthy and energetic. The day she was born, a vicious storm was moving into the territory and wind wracked the entire clan. As such, she was named Windkit. Windkit was content to stay within the nursery den for only her first few moons. But the time the fifth moon came about, both she and her brother – whom she was incredibly attached to, being her only other littermate – were begging to be allowed to get some fresh air. By then, the weather had grown considerably cooler. As such, they were only let out of the nursery on a few occasions. Windkit reveled in the life around her. Her surroundings, her Clan, the Warriors – who would someday be her fellow Warriors. Windkit’s sixth moon finally came about and on that day, she was named Windpaw and apprenticed to _______ . Having such a mentor wouldn’t be easy, but she was determined to try and her best and not let her clan down. One day she would be a great Warrior, should the Star Clan feel it her destiny.
